Yorkshire Building Society has issued an undertaking agreeing to discharge the liabilities of Yorkshire Guernsey Limited in so far as Yorkshire Guernsey Limited is unable to discharge them out of its own assets. This undertaking remains effective whilst Yorkshire Guernsey Limited is a subsidiary of Yorkshire Building Society.

Your account with us does not constitute an investment with Yorkshire Building Society and you have no membership rights or voting rights in that institution by virtue of your account with us.

Yorkshire Guernsey Limited is a participant in the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme. The Scheme offers protection for 'qualifying deposits' up to £50,000, subject to certain limitations.
